
TRADE PRINTER (trād prĭntǝr)
A printshop that specializes in producing work for other printshops to resell under their own names. Trade printers offer services that other printers often cannot offer due to workforce experience, limits of production capacity, etc. For example: mailing services, printing of runs exceeding 1 million, sheet sizes up to 28ʺx40ʺ, diecutting, foil stamping, embossing, pamphlet binding, perfect binding, print design, complex folding, packet assembly and pocket folder construction.
